SIRAS Drone Integration AirData – DRONELIFE

New Collaboration Streamlines Fleet Management and Data Security

AirData has announced the integration of its flight data management platform with Teledyne FLIR’s SIRAS drone. This collaboration is designed to enhance public safety and industrial inspection missions by combining AirData’s fleet management tools with the advanced capabilities of the SIRAS drone. The partnership aims to provide users with an all-in-one solution for secure flight data management, operational readiness, and compliance reporting.

Key Features of the SIRAS Drone

Teledyne FLIR’s SIRAS is a high-performance drone developed to address the needs of public safety and industrial operators. It features quick deployment, advanced imaging, and a focus on data security. The SIRAS drone includes hot-swappable batteries and a dual visible-thermal payload. Its patented FLIR MSX® technology overlays visual camera details onto a thermal image, providing greater clarity and context during flights and post-flight analysis.

Designed to prioritize data security, the SIRAS stores imagery on an onboard microSD card and does not connect to the cloud. This ensures that sensitive data remains within the user’s control. The integration with AirData further strengthens this security, as it allows for seamless, offline export of flight logs for compliance and operational tracking.

Secure Data Management for Public Safety

The integration of the SIRAS platform with AirData provides public safety users with an efficient way to manage flight data while ensuring the highest standards of security. “Providing secure fleet management platform services from AirData enables public safety and industrial SIRAS users to get more from their drone investment without sacrificing security,” said Mike Walters, vice president of product management at Teledyne FLIR.

SIRAS users can now securely transfer flight logs to AirData’s platform, where the data will be parsed for telemetry readings, pilot activity, and compliance records. This feature not only supports regulatory compliance but also helps organizations with flight training, incident analysis, and fleet management at scale.

Enhanced Fleet Management Tools

The integration also brings AirData’s fleet management tools to SIRAS users, simplifying operations through features like maintenance tracking, inventory management, and detailed operational reports. AirData’s platform will automatically analyze flight data to provide insights into pilot performance, mission planning, and certification tracking.

“AirData works closely with customers in multiple verticals to provide the tools they need to operate quickly, effectively, and safely,” said Eran Steiner, Founder and CEO of AirData. He also noted that the partnership with Teledyne FLIR aligns with AirData’s commitment to data security, adding, “Integrating the SIRAS drones and its advanced dual visible-thermal imaging technology into the AirData platform allows us to better serve our customers.”

Simplified Compliance and Training

AirData’s system supports streamlined compliance workflows for organizations with large fleets. It enables operators to manage maintenance schedules, pilot certifications, and mission planning all in one place. This integration is designed to help operators reduce downtime and ensure their fleets are mission-ready.

With over 330,000 users and more than 43 million flights uploaded to date, AirData continues to support drone operators worldwide with real-time data processing, safety analysis, and flight streaming capabilities.
