UVify Celebrates Award With Christmas Display
by DRONELIFE Staff Writer Ian J. McNabb
Seattle-based UVify recently announced that its IFO drone show won the prestigious “Best LED Light Show Drone” award at LDI 2023, as part of the “Best of LDI 2023” accolades by rAVe. One of 5 displays featured at LDI, IFO featured a unique 24 FPS framerate, contributing to a display that has won several Guinness World Records.
UVify held a special Christmas display with 2025 IFO drones to celebrate the achievement, demonstrating the system’s technical capabilities while celebrating the holiday season. The IFO choreography swarm drone system is advertised as having enhanced versatility and extended flight times, and can be deployed in mobile/one-off settings or as part of a permanent installation.
UVify’s Chief Operating Officer, Robert Cheek, said, “The UVify IFO is unequivocally the market leader in light show drones, flown daily by operators worldwide. With more flight hours than all other platforms combined, the IFO exemplifies our industry dominance. This is why, when it comes to light show drones, we confidently say, ‘See. Believe.’”
In other light show news, Dronelife reported in late 2023 on the 2024 International Drone Show Competition, showing the increased infrastructure around the digital UAV display space.
