Original story below

The Google Pixel 6 series may be months away from official release, but we’re learning something new every week about the upcoming flagships. We recently figured out what specs to expect from the new devices, which also showed us what processor they could be powered by, and we’ve already shown you official looking renders of the new Google phones.

Google is not known to be a good secret keeper, their devices usually leak completely months before they are launched. Today’s leak reveals the Google Pixel 6 Pro in real photos (via GizmoChina). The picture shows the device exactly as it is shown in the leaked renders, although the two-tone red (or pink) color on the back looks rather pale, it could just be due to the lighting conditions.

The display seems quite large, but it’s hard to tell if it’s actually a 6.7-inch P.OLED panel. The hole-punch selfie camera is aligned, as is the setup of the rear-view camera. The back shows a large camera hump and the sensors are clearly visible, one of which is the main shooter, a wide-angle and the periscope telesensor in a rectangle. The back also appears to be made of glass, so it’s expected to have an aluminum frame, which should also mean wireless charging, and likely support for reverse wireless charging – assuming Google decided to keep it away from the Pixel 5.

Everything we see fits in perfectly with the renders we’ve seen so far. The pictures appear to be real, they even have the Google logo on them. Google Pixel prototype devices often have a different logo to facilitate and prevent prototype sales, although that doesn’t completely prevent it as we’ve seen in the past.

Google is expected to release a regular Google Pixel 6 and the larger, as seen in the pictures, Google Pixel 6 Pro device in October. We still have a few months to go, we will likely learn a lot more about the new devices in the coming weeks and months.
