Alright. The final information on Samsung’s upcoming true wireless earbuds – the Galaxy Buds Pro – was finally revealed through yet another leak. According to the tipster WalkingCat (@ h0x0d) is the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is priced at $ 199. Well, that’s not cheap for a pair of true wireless earbuds, but given the features they bring to the table, the upcoming portable Samsung could well justify the price tag.
Samsung undercuts competitors from Apple, Sony and Bose
If you look at its main competitors, the Apple AirPods Pro was $ 249, the Sony XF-1000XM3 debuted at $ 230, while Bose’s QueitComfort noise-canceling earbuds cost $ 280. However, the Galaxy Buds Pro will be a bit more expensive than the bean-shaped Galaxy Buds Live, which also offers active noise cancellation. Compared to their predecessor – the Galaxy Buds + – Samsung charges a premium of around $ 50 for its true next-generation wireless earbuds.

In terms of features, of course, ANC is the most important. The Galaxy Buds Pro is said to offer a better noise isolation experience than the Galaxy Buds Live due to its in-ear design. Users can control the level of noise cancellationand there will be an ambient mode too This can be enabled when users want to be aware of their surroundings. The upcoming Samsung earphones will be IPX7 dust and water resistant.
ANC, Spatial Audio and 28 hours of battery life
Another major selling point of the Galaxy Buds Pro will be spatial audio. This feature is said to be based on head tracking to provide an immersive listening experience. Spatial Audio is designed to mimic the multidirectional sound experience you get in theaters. Apple offers a similar feature with its AirPods Pro and the newly launched AirPods Max headphones. So far, leaks have shown that the Galaxy Buds Pro is available in purple, black, and silver.
The audio output is handled by 11-meter drivers and 6.5-mm tweeters with double coaxial speakers. Other leaked features include dedicated gyro sensors, Dolby Atmos support, and SoundAlive, to name a few. Each earbud is equipped with a 61 mAh battery, while there is a 472 mAh unit in the charging case The upcoming Samsung earphones are said to last up to 28 hours on a single charge. Samsung will be showcasing its next-generation noise-canceling earbuds at the next Unpacked event in January, when the company will also take off the Galaxy S21 family covers.
