Xiaomi Combine Four introduced with digital camera below the show, Snapdragon 888+

Xiaomi’s numbers have been quite impressive lately. The company found the formula to bring competition to Apple and Samsung. The Chinese company officially ranked Apple second in global smartphone sales for the first half of 2021, and it appears that it is on the verge of taking Samsung’s crown. The company has launched a new flagship with the Xiaomi Mix 4, which has a camera under the display and more.

The new Xiaomi Mix 4 is finally here. Xiaomi’s first smartphone with what Xiaomi calls a camera under the panel or a camera under the display. We had to wait almost three years to see a new Mi Mix device and we can say it was worth it.

Xiaomi’s new Mix 4 comes with a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display that houses a 20 MP selfie camera underneath. This camera works thanks to a novel flexible display and a new circuit arrangement that allows the light to reach the selfie camera sensor. The Xiaomi Mix 4 uses a micro diamond pattern that ensures minimal light refraction, which allows the camera to capture a lot of detail with every shot. In addition, the display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and also has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and FHD + resolution.

On the back we find a triple camera setup with a 108MP ISOCELL HMX main sensor with optical image stabilization. The package is rounded off by an 8MP 5x periscope camera and an equivalent focal length of 120 mm as well as a 13P ultra-wide angle sensor with a free-form lens.

We also get tuned stereo speakers from Harman / Kardon, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, and your choice of 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/512 GB of storage. And since we’re already talking about the choice, we can also mention that you can get a new Xiaomi Mix 4 in three color options including black, white and gray on the ceramic back, which also allows 50W wireless charging. Regular wired charging gives you an amazing 120W charge speed that charges the 4,500mAh battery in just 15 minutes in boost mode or 21 minutes in standard mode. You can also use Boost mode with wireless charging, so you can fully charge your device in just 28 minutes.

If you’re interested in a new Xiaomi Mix 4, you can get one for just $ 770 or go for the 12GB RAM and 512GB model for $ 970, but you’ll have to wait until August 16, to get it if you so live in china. We expect this device to be seen in other markets as well, but international availability will be announced in the future.
