Recently, the iOS 14.6 beta gave us a glimpse into the upcoming True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds from Apple’s own Beats brand. The device was then discovered in the US FCC database. The compliance documents and test certification reports indicated that Beats Studio Buds is getting closer to an official launch. Now, ahead of the official reveal, the Beats Studio Buds price has leaked online.
According to tipster Jon Prosser, the launch of Beats Studio Buds is imminent. The TWS earbuds are said to be available in red, black, and white color options at a price of $ 149.99. It should be noted that the Studio Buds will hit the market on July 21st, likely through a press release. According to rumors, the design of the Beats Studio Buds is very similar to that of the AirPods Pro 2, which are also rumored to be in preparation.
The FCC documents have confirmed Beats Studio Buds as the marketing name for the upcoming earbuds. In addition, the circuit diagrams in the FCC documents also reveal a key design aspect – the lack of a stem, which is an integral part of the AirPods’ current design language.
The Beats Studio Buds are designed to support active noise cancellation and follow in the footsteps of the AirPods Pro and AirPods Max. They’ll also mark Apple’s first attempt at making earbuds without the splitting stem that is also said to be part of the upcoming AirPods Pro design. The Beats Studio Buds have an in-ear design with silicone earbuds and offer a more secure fit compared to the Vanilla AirPods. Also, the charging case could have an oval, pebble-like profile that follows the color scheme of the earbuds themselves.
