TVS Motor brings electrical scooters to Kochi. in the marketplace

The TVS Motor Company, global manufacturer of two and three-wheelers, announced the market launch of their TVS iQube electric scooter in Kochi on Saturday.

“TVS iQube Electric is a green and connected urban scooter powered by an advanced electric drive and a next-generation TVS SmartXonnect platform,” the company said in a statement.

Venu said TVS Motor Company is transforming into a digital age company providing world-class green and connected products.

He said the TVS iQube Electric ecosystem is built around digital platforms that enable customers to have a full digital retail experience.

“As India advances, its mobility solutions would be increasingly experiential, and nowhere is this more perceived than among the youth of India.

Our focus on India’s youth is embodied in the first part of the TVS electrical portfolio. TVS iQube Electric is a blend of an advanced electric powertrain and the next generation TVS SmartXonnect platform, ”said Venu.

TVS iQube Electric is equipped with a 4.4 kW electric motor to deliver high performance and efficiency without transmission losses.

The scooter drives at a top speed of 78 km / h and covers 75 km with a full charge.

The scooter comes with an impressive acceleration from 0 to 40 km / h in 4.2 seconds, the company said.

The scooter can be booked through the website with a booking amount of Rs 5,000, followed by a fully transparent digital buying experience and dedicated customer care for purchase and support.

The company also offers its customers comprehensive charging support that spans multiple charging options, including SmartXHome, which offers a dedicated home charging solution with BlueTooth connectivity, live charging status, and RFID-enabled security.

“Charging units for the scooter are currently being installed at Cochin TVS in Kochi.

In addition, the company is developing an extensive ecosystem for public charging by building network strength across the city, ”it says.

The scooter will be available starting today in select dealerships across Kochi at a street price of 1,23,917 rupees.
