Tribute was paid to a retiree who was killed in an accident with her electric scooter and a car in Yate.
Shirley Meaden was driving her scooter down Westerleigh Road when she was involved in a collision with a car on the morning of August 29.
The 83-year-old died as a result of the impact.
In a tribute published today (September 17th), the Shirley family said, “To a lady who could give endlessly, from sewing to shopping and just being a friend. She is missed by people from all walks of life.
“Good night, God bless mom.”
A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at Stanshawes Court in Yate on Friday, September 24th from 3:15 pm to 5:45 pm.
Police officers continue to inquire about the crash, while technical officers continue to provide assistance to Shirley’s family.
