The Regulation-Tech Join™ Workshop, at Xponential ’22: Drone Regulation Useful resource for Attorneys, College students, and Enterprise

Drone laws can have a big impact on business and the development of future applications: BVLOS flight, drone swarms, automated systems, and advanced air mobility will all depend upon the way that drone laws and regulations evolve. Businesses and investors need to understand how these laws will effect their operations. Don’t miss the Early Bird discount, or your opportunity to apply for the Carahsoft Scholars Program to attend the Law-Tech Connect Workshop!

Law-Tech Connect™ Workshop at AUVSI XPONENTIAL 22 Announces Carahsoft Scholars Program!

Earlier this month, Colorado-based P3 Tech Consulting LLC announced an alliance with AUVSI for its inaugural Law-Tech Connect™ Workshop at this year’s XPONENTIAL. The workshop, scheduled for Monday, April 25th in Orlando, Florida, will provide those interested in unmanned systems law, regulations and policy with world-class knowledge. It also qualifies as continuing legal education (CLE) for attorneys. P3 Tech has now added the Carahsoft Scholars Program to the Workshop.

The scholars program will enable students and faculty to attend the event, and receive a drone law text book, for free. Program sponsor, Carahsoft Technology Corp., The Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider®, delivers comprehensive end-to-end UAS ecosystem solutions for federal, state, local, tribal and territorial governments.

This year, Carahsoft Scholars will include nine students from diverse backgrounds with a common interest in unmanned systems.

Event organizer and P3 Tech CEO, Dawn Zoldi (Colonel, USAF Retired), among many other hats, wears one as an Adjunct Professor at both Colorado State University-Pueblo and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University’s Worldwide Campus. She authored the drone law text book available to workshop attendees, in partnership with the Unmanned Safety Institute. Enabling students to attend this world-class educational event was consistent with their own personal and their company’s core value of industry education and advocacy.

Zoldi said, “I’m ecstatic to work with Carahsoft on this important program to help educate and inspire our future workforce together, through this Scholars Program. I can’t wait to introduce aspiring young pilots, entrepreneurs, lawyers and more to the incredible folks who have already established their place in this industry. This is where important connections will begin…and the future will start.”

The workshop has an unparalleled speaker line up from government, commercial industry and academia. Its agenda covers a broad range of topics ranging from drone law/regulation updates, artificial intelligence policy, public-private partnership legal authorities, the law of the air/land/sea, intellectual property to navigation and privacy law.

XPONENTIAL is the world’s premier event for unmanned systems and autonomy, annually attracting thousands of attendees. All Law-Tech Connect Workshop attendees, including its scholars, will also receive a free XPO Hall pass. This will allow them to engage with over 650 exhibitors across more than two football fields of exhibit space in the days following the workshop. The nominal registration fee also covers all meals during the one-day event. Add ons include the VIP Influencer reception and the ability to purchase Zoldi’s newly released drone law text book.
