OnePlus is expected to work on launching its next budget North smartphone in the US. The launch of the OnePlus Nord N200 5G is imminent, and before the official reveal, Evan Blass shared a rendering and data sheet of the upcoming device. The latter reveals a modest entry-level smartphone.

It is recommended to have 64 GB of built-in (UFS 2.1) storage and a dedicated microSD card slot. The smartphone could run OxygenOS based on Android 11 out of the box.

According to the rendering, the OnePlus Nord 200 5G appears to have a shiny construction. It has a triple rear camera and a selfie shooter housed in a hole cutout in the upper left corner. Plus, the bezels are minimal, but there’s a noticeable chin on the bottom. According to the leak, the Nord N200 5G comes with a 13 MP main camera with EIS support, a 2 MP macro lens and a 2 MP monochrome camera. A 16MP selfie shooter can be on the front. It is said to support photo features like HDR, Macro, Portrait Mode, Professional Mode, AI Scene Detection, Time Lapse, 720p slow motion video at 120 fps and up to 1080p video recording at 30 fps.

The OnePlus Nord N200 5G could pack a 5,000 mAh battery with an 18 W charge. It is recommended to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock support for security reasons. Other functions are dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, dual-band GPS, USB-C and a 3.5 mm audio jack. In the US, the phone could cost under $ 250.
