Automated drone solutions are among the fastest growing sectors in the commercial drone industry. Now the CIRC drone-in-a-box solution has arrived as a new player in Europe.
The Taiwan-based Coretronic Intelligent Robotics Corporation (CIRC) is already established in Asia as a specialized provider of AI drones in a box (DIB) and offers services in the areas of security, inspection and emergency measures. “CIRC is one of the few large-scale manufacturers with drone capabilities outside of China. As a result, partners benefit from economies of scale that are free from political sensitivities, ”the company said in a press release. “Your research and development teams can design and manufacture bespoke solutions or provide out-of-the-box solutions.”
The CIRC drone-in-a-box solution offers 5 different options for drone models for different applications: security or inspection, surveying, delivery, mobile deployment and vertical take-off and landing over long distances (VTOL). 2 different models of ‘nests’ for automated charging and monitoring contain heating and cooling systems that enable operation in a wide temperature range from -10 ° to 40 ° C.
The solution also includes software. CIRC’s Fleet Management System (FMS) is called SkyWatch and is used to remotely control and control a single drone or a fleet of hundreds: either cloud-based or local for sensitive applications. Insight is the AI-supported analysis platform from CIRC, which generates usable insights from recorded data.
The drone-in-a-box solution is “Developed for easy integration into new or existing systems with direct API access to all levels of the CIRC system,” says the press release. “… At the highest level to interact with the fleet management system, and at the lowest level to directly control subsystems on board the drone. CIRC can tailor its standard solutions exactly to the requirements of a company or develop a new solution for tailor-made applications. “
While CIRC solutions have been used by governments, police forces and multinationals around the world, CIRC’s new offices in the UK will offer European industry yet another automated drone option. Full system and flight demonstrations are available from their UK office in Hemel Hempstead.
