Sony is launching CES’s first QD OLED as a part of the brand new Bravia TV vary in 2022

Sony presented its new Bravia TV series 2022 at CES, officially defeating competitors such as Samsung when introducing a QD OLED set with the presentation of the Master Series A95K.

It’s something of a holy grail in terms of TV technology and one of the main battlegrounds of CES 2022, as Sony’s big rival Samsung is also widely advised to launch its first QD OLED set after it goes through a leak as a recipient of. one of this year’s prizes became known at the fair.

The South Korean outfit is actually the one behind the display used by Sony here, but where the Japanese manufacturer typically enjoys an edge over its competitors is its proprietary XR processor technology – once again at the end of an upgrade this year.

However, that is not all Sony has plans in Vegas, because the Japanese manufacturer is also introducing its first mini-LED models. These are led by the 8K Z9K ​​series (75- and 85-inch models), while the X95K drops the resolution to 4K, but is available in sizes 65, 75 and 85 inches.

Details on pricing and release date are yet to be confirmed, but Sony expects to reveal more in the months ahead.
