Sky launches Apple TV + on Sky Glass and Sky Q

After an earlier reveal, Sky has now confirmed that Apple TV + has now been rolled out on both Sky Q and Sky Glass. Sky also confirmed that the Global Player radio app and Peacock’s content collection will also be available on Sky Glass in the coming days. Peacock was previously available on Sky Q

If you’re not already a member of Apple TV +, there’s a free week-long trial that renews the service for £ 4.99 per month.

As with Netflix and Disney +, Apple TV + is fully integrated with Sky Q and Sky Glass, so you can use voice control to search for Apple TV + content like Ted Lasso, Long Way Up or The Morning Show while shows from the service appear in Top Picks and elsewhere on your Sky homepage, if relevant.

If you have Sky Glass, you can also add shows from Apple TV + to your playlist so you can easily come back to them. Sky also says Apple TV + shows will be accessible through the Sky Go app in mid-2022, though of course you can always watch them anytime through the Apple TV + app on your iPhone, Mac, or iPad.

NBCUniversal’s Peacock is available to Sky customers at no additional cost and will debut on Sky Glass tomorrow, December 15th.
