Scooter drivers hit by a automobile at a busy intersection undergo severe accidents

Two electric scooter drivers were hit by a car at a busy intersection.

The two drivers were beaten last night around 6:50 p.m. at the intersection of Mulgrave Street, Grove Street and Upper Parliament Street in Toxteth.

The police said both drivers were hospitalized with serious injuries. Their age was not disclosed.

The driver of the car, a black Ford Fiesta, was not injured.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said today: “We are asking for information following a collision in Liverpool yesterday (Tuesday 1st June).

“At around 6:50 pm we received a message that an electric scooter collided with a black Ford Fiesta at the intersection of Mulgrave Street, Grove Street and Upper Parliament Street.

“The ambulance service was on site and the two scooter drivers were seriously injured and taken to the hospital.

“The driver of the Ford Fiesta stopped, was uninjured and supports the police in their investigations.

“The road closures around Mulgrave Street have now been lifted and officers have spoken to local witnesses.
