Samsung’s preps for Galaxy Z Fold Three and Z Flip Three with some aggressive numbers
Well, we’re taking a break from business to cover a remarkably interesting topic. It seems that Samsung is preparing everything for the upcoming launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. As Jon Prosser wrote on his newly created website, the Korean tech giant has already started mass production of its two new foldable ones.
Recent rumors suggest that the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 could hit the market in August. Samsung’s new foldable devices could be announced at the next Galaxy Unpacked event, which could take place on August 3rd, where we could also see the launch of four new Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 models. However, Samsung fans and anyone else who wants a new Samsung foldable device may have to wait until August 27th for it to be available for purchase.
Now, Jon Prosser’s sources claim that Samsung started mass production of both the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 last week. That seems fine, but the most important detail is that Samsung reportedly orders 50 to 70,000 units per day from each device. And it seems that Samsung has high hopes for these two devices as these orders are much higher than the previous models.
According to these numbers, Samsung could aim for around 7 million units in total for the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3. With that, Samsung is now more than prepared for the launch of its new foldable device. And if you are curious, Samsung has only produced around one to two million of the previous foldable models.
Perhaps Samsung is confident that the new features will make the new foldable devices more attractive to potential customers. On top of that, it is also rumored that the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 could be available for a cheaper price, so yes, it could happen.
