The new generation of Samsung Galaxy Buds2 is expected to be officially announced on August 11th at Samsung’s next Unpacked event, which is rumored to take place this summer. The new wireless earbuds will feature a number of improvements over their predecessor, the Galaxy Buds +.
The new leaks come from Evan Blass on Twitter, who showed the new Samsung Galaxy Buds2 in all its glory. The videos give us a clear idea of the new design changes. The first and foremost change is the case, it will be a lot bigger, similar to the Galaxy Buds Pro. There is an LED on the front to show the battery percentage, and on the back there is a USB-C port for charging, although it is rumored that the underside will also charge wirelessly.

The outside of the case is plain white, while the inside is accentuated depending on the color of the earphones. The earbuds themselves are also expected to have a consistent texture rather than being shiny like in previous generations. The buds have dual microphones to improve noise cancellation and come with rubber tips to provide passive noise cancellation. Unfortunately, there will be no active noise cancellation (ANC), which is rumored to be only available on the Galaxy Buds Pro and Buds Live devices.
