Realme recently announced that its upcoming flagship smartphone, Race, will be named Realme GT. The device will be launched on March 4th. Before the official unveiling, the company had already revealed the rear design through teaser posters. Now the company has released yet another teaser that says the device could be the cheapest Snapdragon 888 smartphone. The teaser says the price will be below 2,999 yuan (~ $ 465) in the domestic market.
The teaser poster also shows that Realme GT has a refresh rate of 120 Hz on its AMOLED display. It is paired with expanded versions of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone is equipped with a triple rear-view camera, which is housed in a vertically aligned rectangular camera module in teaser posters. It seems like the back of the device has stripes for better grip We also see a headphone jack, USB Type-C port, and speakers below. Another poster revealed that the Realme GT will be equipped with a 64-megapixel primary camera.
The Realme GT is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It should have an OLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. There may be a 64-megapixel primary rear camera. The other two cameras on the back are each equipped with 13 MP. The device may have 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Realme GT can start in three storage versions like 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB UFS 3.1 storage. It is said to contain a 5,000 mAh battery that may support 125W fast charging. It will likely run Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 operating system.
