POCO F3 brings 120Hz AMOLED show, Snapdragon 870 SoC for lower than 300 €

POCO today launched its highly anticipated POCO F3 alongside the POCO X3 Pro. The smartphone is essentially a revamped Redmi K40 for the international market. It offers a range of premium features at an affordable price. It comes with a 120 Hz AMOLED display, three rear cameras, a powerful processor, a fairly large battery with 33 W fast charge, and a lot more. 120 Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 870 and 33 W fast charge function

The POCO F3 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED dot display that offers full HD + resolution. It has a centered hole cutout. The display supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz. It can reach up to 1300 nits of peak brightness, which is effective for supported HDR content. It weighs 196 grams and comes with Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back.

The POCO F3 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC, which is based on the 7 nm process and is coupled with the Adreno 650 GPU. You get options for 6 GB LPDDR5 RAM + 128 GB UFS 3.1 storage or 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The smartphone has a 4,520 mAh battery that supports 33 W fast charging and a 33 W fast charger included. You also get support for Wi-Fi 6 as well as Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity.

In terms of optics, the POCO F3 has a triple rear camera setup as opposed to the quad camera setup of the POCO X3 Pro. It is guided by a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of 1: 1.79, which is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 119-degree field of view and a 5-megapixel tele macro camera, which is also used on the Redmi Note 10 Pro was Max. There is a 20MP selfie shooter on the front. You also get a 3.5mm audio jack and two speakers that are Dolby Atmos certified. It runs MIUI 12 based on Android 11.

The POCO F3 price is 349 euros for the basic variant, which will be available for an early bird price of 299 euros. On the other hand, the 8GB + 256GB model will set you back to 399 euros or 349 euros on early bird sales. The phone is entitled to the introductory price until April 6th.
