Petronas SRT teases electrical scooters

Velocifero will produce around 150,000 kick scooters in its factory in 2021

The Petronas Sepang Racing Team has announced a new partnership with the urban kick scooter manufacturer Velocifero with a limited edition Mad Air electric scooter presented at the DutchGP 2021. The announcement is the latest announcement from the team that is expanding its off-track activities to include electric two-wheeled vehicles. In the remaining races in 2021, prototypes of scooters will be used and presented by the team.

The Concept PSRT Velocifero Mad Air electric scooter has a practical folding handlebar design for easy storage and transport, a powerful 350 W electric motor and a detachable 36 V 10.4 Ah battery, a digital display panel and a front motor and electric brakes and rear window brakes.

The Mad Air gets a digital display

The low weight of 16 kg makes the Mad Air a perfect e-mobility solution for anyone who flies around and conquers urban terrain. This limited special edition is designed in the characteristic colors of the Petronas SRT Racing paintwork.

By introducing the prototype scooter at races, the team will evaluate a limited production series for the future.
