Drone service providers need drone data management – and they have to constantly find new customers. The Optelos DSP Inspector ™ program was designed to meet these needs in a partnership that helps both parties grow.
As the drone industry grows, Drone Service Providers (DSPs) provide critical services for inspecting critical assets in industries such as energy, oil, and gas. However, making contacts to find customers can be a challenge for DSPs. Forging the right partnerships in the drone industry can be a growth accelerator.
Optelos, an industry-leading enterprise SaaS platform, provides a drone data management ecosystem that infrastructure companies can use to digitize their inspections. Often, however, customers need help identifying a qualified drone service provider to conduct drone inspections and transfer data to the platform. Optelos is now launching a special platform for Drone Service Providers (DSPs) to operationalize the provision of digital asset inspection for companies. As part of the Optelos DSP inspection program, qualified DSPs are included in the Optelos Service Provider Network, in which Optelos customers can request services directly from the DSP.
The Optelos platform
The Optelos platform is designed to provide enterprise customers with the insights they need from aerial imagery. The patented technology is designed to handle the enormous volume of data that drone inspection projects generate. It combines visual data management, data visualization, and automated AI computer vision to deliver targeted business insights.
The Optelos platform can be used by a company or a DSP. DSPs can give their corporate customers a username and password and provide professional data. The data can be managed in a way that makes sense for DSPs. With the right security and management tools, it is easy to organize multiple projects for multiple clients. “Optelos’ goal is to help DSPs grow their business through better management and delivery of inspection data to customers,” the company says.
The Optelos DSP Inspector platform
The DSP platform is a cost-effective way for DSPs to manage, process and deliver data to customers.
With access to the Optelos DSP Inspector platform, DSPs can provide their customers with robust data, models and reports, as well as easily manage all visual data for all customers and projects. DSPs also get a full range of capabilities including: built-in measurement and analysis functions, combining data aggregations, visual data and other CAD data for assets, reports and IoT data for more comprehensive analysis, and the ability to create high-resolution and high-precision 2D and Create 3D models.
David Tran, CEO of Optelos, says they worked with customers to develop the DSP Inspector ™ platform to meet the specific needs of DSPs. “We worked closely with companies and DSPs to develop the Optelos DSP Inspector ™ platform. In conjunction with the Optelos Enterprise Asset Advisor solution, this offers a standardized, but very open and scalable workflow for asset inspection, ”he says. “The Optelos Drone Data ecosystem enables companies to use world-class drone providers to implement and expand their asset verification program.”
Chris Kelce, owner of TCA Drones, loves the platform and has benefited from the service provider program. “Since joining the Optelos Service Provider Program, I have grown my business working with Optelos customers. My existing customers love the experience of accessing their projects through the Optelos platform, ”he says.
How the program works
- DSPs Register online using a simple entry form
- Optelos will review and review the business details of the DSP.
- After the inspection, the DSP is set up with its own Optelos DSP Inspector license so that it can immediately start providing project data for its customers. Optelos can also provide 2D / 3D so no other third party providers are required
- Once registered, the DSP is added to the Optelos service provider network so that it is authorized to provide services to Optelos customers.
- DSPs can also earn commissions when selling the Optelos platform to their customers.
