The Motorola Edge X30 has a large 6.7-inch FHD + OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The standard Edge X30 comes with a cutout hole that contains a 60 MP selfie camera, while the Special Edition has the same selfie shooter but is hidden under the display. It will be interesting to see how Vanilla and Special Edition compare, and whether Motorola managed to make the quality great.

Under the hood, the Moto Edge X30 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There will also be an 8/256 GB and a 12/256 GB model. The CPU will see a 20% increase in performance, a 30% GPU and a 400% increase in performance for AI activities compared to the Snapdragon 888+ chipset.

If we turn the phone backwards, we will find three camera sensors. The primary is a 50MP sensor that is 2.0 µm in size and has PDAF and OIS. The second sensor is an ultrawide sensor with 50 MP, while the third sensor offers only 2 MP for depth measurement. The cameras can record up to 8K.

In terms of endurance, it has a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 68W fast wired charging. In terms of software, it runs on the latest Android 12 and, as expected, has the USB-C port on the bottom.
