Moto G100 found on-line; could possibly be a redesigned Edge S for world markets

Motorola recently launched the Moto Edge S in China, the world’s first smartphone with the Snapdragon 870 SoC. It was typed to be codenamed Motorola Nio. However, it turned out that Nio was a G-series device with high-end specs. Now it is pointed out that the Motorola Nio / Edge S could actually be a Moto G-series device, Moto G100 for the rest of the world.

The same code name of Moto Edge S has appeared on Geekbench 5 as Moto G100. The processor is mentioned with a base frequency of 1.80 GHz and a maximum speed of 3.19 GHz and has Adreno G50 graphics. It’s likely the Snapdragon 870 chipset. It was discovered with 8GB of RAM and Android 11. In single-core and multi-core tests, 957 and 2815 points were achieved.

The most powerful Moto G device yet?

If the Motorola Moto G100 turns out to be the redesigned Moto Edge S, here are the specs it could have. It has features such as vlogger mode, audio zoom and a special night mode for recording in low light conditions. There is a 16MP + 8MP dual selfie camera on the front.
