iPhone 13 fashions are displayed for certification

The next generation of the iPhone 13 series is still a long way off as Apple usually announces it in September. However, before a device can be released to the public, the device must pass a number of different regulatory agencies and must be certified.

Discovered by Consomac (via 9to5Mac), several new Apple iPhone models have been certified by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), which includes the following model numbers: A2628, A2630, A2634, A2635, A2640, A2643 and A2645. As it stands, we have no way of knowing which model number corresponds to which model. All devices will run iOS 14, which is normal for devices in development.

This year’s iPhone models are expected to feature high refresh rate 120Hz OLED displays – which will be a first on an iPhone. The new screen will probably only be included in the Pro models, the standard and mini versions remain at 60Hz. The notch is also expected to be much smaller, as shown by some of the leaks seen so far.

The rest of the specifications include an updated, fast A15 processor – based on the 5 nm process – and new improved cameras. We also heard that the new iPhone 13 models could be thicker than last year and that LiDAR may not just be a Pro feature. The cameras of the iPhone 13 series should have a new ultrawide sensor with f / 1.6 aperture, the Pro devices should also receive sensor shift stabilization for both the main and the ultrawide camera.

There are many things we don’t know about the upcoming Apple flagships, but that will change in the coming weeks as more and more leaks are expected to be uncovered. The new iPhone 13 series will be announced sometime in September, later this year.
