Honor Magic three is powered by a Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC

The Global CEO Tech Talk took place today, July 20th, in Shenzen, China. In addition to Cristiano Amon, President and CEO of Qualcomm, Honors CEO George Zhao also took part in the Tech Talk.

The CEOs took part in the discussion to share valuable insights on how AI and 5G can enable smarter, more connected lives for everyone. During the discussion, Cristiano was pleased to announce that Honor will be among the first to equip a smartphone with Snapdragon 888 Plus and bring it to market. Cristiano also referred to the achievements that both brands have achieved together within a short period of time.

Pointing out that the upcoming Honor Magic 3 series will run on the latest Qualcomm chipset, George Zhao noted, “With more than a 20% improvement in AI performance, the Snapdragon 888 Plus is capable of multiple neural networks run at the same time. The industry-leading performance of the platform gives the HONOR Magic3 series the flexibility to deliver a premium mobile and camera experience. “

Honor also shared more information on the design and inspiration behind the Honor Magic 3 series, noting that the upcoming smartphone was inspired by the color of the Magic Hour. Magic Hour is “In the time from 15 to 20 minutes before sunset or after sunrise, when the sun is between -6 ° and -4 ° below the horizon, the sky is dark blue. When the sun is between -4 ° and 6 ° above the horizon, the sky is a pink or rose gold hue. These color phases during the Magic Hour gave the HONOR Magic3 series its two-tone name Blue Hour and Golden Hour. “

Zhao has also raised concerns about the protection of private and confidential information stored on smartphones today, saying, “Your privacy is yours,” underscoring Honor’s commitment to keeping personal information safe and secure.

The Honor Magic 3 has been confirmed to launch with dual selfie cameras, and a new teaser showing off the round camera design was also shared today. The new Honor Magic 3 series will be officially revealed on August 12th.
