HMD proclaims the rugged Nokia XR20, arriving within the US on August 24th

HMD Global today announced the Nokia XR20, the first X-series device to hit the US market. The Nokia XR20 is a rugged device that with its MIL-STD-810H rating can withstand anything you or life throws at it.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 480 5G chip and has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 512 GB via a microSD card.

The 6.67-inch FHD + display (1080 x 2400 pixels) is protected by the strongest Gorilla Glass Victus for maximum durability. In addition, it offers wet hands and glove compatibility, according to HMD.

The 8-megapixel front camera is located in the hole in the display, while the dual camera system on the rear consists of a 48-megapixel main and a 13-megapixel secondary ultra-wide shooter, both with ZEISS optics accompanied by the LED flash.

Everything is powered by 4,630 mAh, together with Android 11, with updates from HMD for three years.
