Google permits you to add no matter characteristic you prefer to Chrome’s deal with bar

Google has tested a variety of different options and interfaces in Chrome in the past, just so that sooner or later they would be canceled and that the public builds would never occur. It’s found that Google is testing a new customizable shortcut between the address bar and the tab switcher in the latest Canary version of Chrome.

AndroidPolice noticed that Chrome Beta 3 (93.0.4536.2) added a new button between the address bar and the tab switcher. It has been reported that the feature is actually customizable, which is something very new. By default, the button corresponds to what the user is using, but you can do one of the following: open a new tab, share the page you’re visiting, or do a voice search.

The new toolbar function can be found in the settings under Advanced -> Toolbar link. If you don’t see the feature in your current version of Chrome Canary, you should try updating it. Alternatively, you can look for these two flags. First, chrome: // flags / # adaptive-button-in-top-toolbar and second, chrome: // flags # adaptive-button-in-top-toolbar-customization.

The controls are said to be very fussy, they may not be working properly at all at this point. The algorithm behind the function that learns from its use is expected to get better over time, but as with all Canary builds, it may be stable for a while or not at all – depending on whether it is in the Future. That said, it’s great to see Google’s experience with customizable controls and features. Hopefully, Google will add more features that will allow us to better customize the browser in the future.

What new customizable features would you like to see or find useful in Google Chrome? What is your current main browser on your device? Let us know in the comments!
