Join Dawn and Senior Robotics Engineer Savanna Horan of Fenix ​​Group Inc, leader in creative applied intelligence, as they discuss the Mobile Robotic LTE Network and the future of commercial and military robotics, drones and connected communications.

Savanna Horan holds an MS in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has worked for a variety of companies from the Department of the Navy to iRobot. Savanna also holds her A&P and Remote Pilot certifications from the FAA and is a volunteer in Women in Technology’s (Region DC) mentor / protege program and AUVSI’s Grassroots Advocacy Network.

With her current company, Fenix ​​Group Inc, Savanna has filed a patent for a robot concept called MRLN (pronounced like the magician Merlin). An advocate of continuous learning, collaboration, and overcommunication for humans and robots, Savanna believes that the future of robotics lies in heterogeneous, multi-domain teaming, including collaboration with humans. “Robots are useful tools that can help humanity evolve,” says Horan.
