Emergency services were called after a woman on a scooter was hit by a car.
A Staffordshire police officer came across the incident at around 11:18 a.m. this morning at the roundabout near Foregate Street and Queensway in Stafford.
Paramedics are also on site and treat the woman on the side of the road. The severity of her injuries is currently unknown.
Foregate Street is partially blocked while the incident is being handled.
A Staffordshire Police spokeswoman said: “A road collision report came in after an officer on duty discovered the incident on Foregate Street.
A car and a woman were involved in the collision as they got off their scooter. The rescue service is on site. “
