String of scooter incidents

Monday’s accident is the latest in a growing number of e-scooter incidents.

On Sunday, terrifying footage emerged of four scooter riders traveling down St Kilda Road before screeches can be heard and a yellow Ford heads straight for them.

The car swerved off the road and narrowly missed the scooter rider traveling at the rear.

Victoria Police believe the incident was sparked after a verbal altercation between the scooter riders and a mystery woman about an hour earlier.

The woman was picked up by the yellow Ford before the rampage started.

The driver of the yellow Ford is yet to come forward and the police have urged anyone with information to contact them.
