The goal of the partnership is to provide veterans transitioning to civilian life with entrepreneurship and drone training through the Vets to Drones program, utilizing PromoDrone’s forthcoming beta platform to allow for the development of new skills and as a point of access to a new revenue model.

“We are honored to be able to offer our business-in-a-box solution and supporting ecosystem to those who have given so much to the greater good of our society,” said PromoDrone Founder and CEO Jamar Williams. “We are beyond proud to be contributing to the empowerment and self worth of each individual by creating a strong pathway to independence and valuable skills. This is just the beginning of how drones can change lives”

“The UAS industry provides an opportunity for veterans to continue to serve their country by conducting fulfilling, purpose-driven work,” said Vets To Drones Founder and CEO Chris Lewis. “Vets to Drones offers transitional services preparing veterans to enter the commercial UAS industry through industry specific training and certifications. We are proud of our partnership with PromoDrone and the new opportunities we are able to provide our graduates.”

Vets to Drones has also committed to provide all of its services, including the PromoDrone platform, entirely for free, with veterans enrolling in the workforce program receiving no charge. The program will be supported by funding received from grants, donors, and community support, with additional sources in development.

Vets To Drones currently has 70 veterans enrolled in its program, almost half of which have obtained their Part 107 Certificates, with 12 of its graduates having successfully found employment within the UAS industry. The program intends to raise its enrollment and graduation rates by ten times over the course of the next year.
