By Ranjai Singh: Close on the heels of Delhi’s Kanjhawala horror, two scooter-borne women were hit by a speeding car and dragged for a few meters in the Fazalganj area of Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur. However, after covering a certain distance, the women fell off the scooter.
According to police, the suspect, Rohan, was crossing the Govindpuri bridge at a high speed when his car rammed into the scooter.
Police said Rohan did not stop the car after the accident and kept moving, dragging the scooter along. They added that the women, Kaushiki and Paridhi, got separated from the two-wheeler after a while and fell on the ground but the scooter continued to be dragged.
