Apple’s one-year solo loop band is already collapsing for some

With the Apple Watch Series 7 on the horizon, owners of the current generation Apple Watch are starting to report some issues. According to some Reddit peers, Apple’s solo loop band isn’t holding up strong.

Some of the responses in the discussion say that the accessories “expand” over time, while others report “cuts” and “cracks” in the $ 50 accessories.

“I loved that [S]feeling [L]oop, because it was really the most comfortable band and was my everyday life. Unfortunately, a micro-crack developed and it finally cracked after about 10 months, “said user” GPT96 “. “I would replace it, but they’re too expensive and the standard sports band, while not as comfortable, does the job.”

Brazilian YouTuber March Will has also reported a similar issue with his solo loop, which saw his band (literally) cut in half.

Apple introduced Solo Loop with the Apple Watch Series 6. The company said the band took the stress out of wearing the watch over and over again. It’s a special, stretchy silicone material that attaches the Apple Watch to the wrist without a traditional clasp. But apparently the band didn’t hold up.

Some Reddit commentators were able to get a replacement from Apple, others simply accepted the loss and switched to another band.
