Youngsters pushed the person off the scooter earlier than driving off, leaving him injured

Two teenagers pushed a man off a scooter before stealing him and driving off.

The police are looking for information about the robbery that took place on March 3 at around 8 p.m.

The teenagers, who are described as being around 15 or 16 years old and both 6 feet tall, approached their victim, who was sitting on a scooter, on Woodplumpton Road at the junction with Banksfield Avenue in Preston.

Both of them wore dark clothes and pushed the man off his scooter before stealing him and heading for Lane Ends.

A police spokesman said: “We are looking for information related to a robbery that took place at around 8pm on March 3rd at Woodplumpton Road, Banksfield Junction.

“Two teenagers described as 15/16 years old, both 6 feet tall and dressed in dark, approached a victim on a scooter and pushed him off, causing injuries before stealing the scooter towards Lane Ends.

“If you have information about this incident, or have been through the area and have dashcam footage about the incident, please call 101 or on 1416 dated March 3rd.”
