The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A72 4G may have been leaked

We got rumors about a new Samsung Galaxy A72. This new device is expected to have 4G and 5G variants and we’ve already seen what the latter will look like, as it appeared in some renders that leaked in December. So far, however, there has been no further information on the LTE-only counterpart.

The guys from the German blog WinFuture recently released the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A72 4G. The leaked renders show us a device that looks like its 5G variant, which means that it also has a 6.7-inch FullHD + Super AMOLED display with 90 Hz refresh rates on the front. Now if we focus on the back, we can find a quad camera setup in the top left corner.

Rumor has it that this camera module contains a 64-megapixel primary shooter, a 12-megapixel ultrawide, a 5-megapixel depth, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. However, this is inconsistent with previous reports. We saw that the 64-megapixel primary sensor and 12-megapixel ultrawide cameras share the spotlight with an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x zoom and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Still, the rumors in the 32-megapixel selfie shooter and the built-in fingerprint reader that may arrive for biometric authentication seem to coincide.

Additionally, the new Samsung Galaxy A72 4G is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720 processor and 8GB of RAM, although we will also have a device with 6GB of RAM under the hood. We could also choose between 128GB and 256GB of storage, and the best part is that this device is likely to have a microSD card slot too, to give users more storage if they wish.

Rumor has it that the Samsung Galaxy A72 comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery, IP67 water and dust resistance, and support for fast charging as it comes with a 25W power adapter in the box. The leaks also lead us to believe that users have at least four color options to choose from. And depending on the storage space you want, you can purchase yours for € 449 for the 128 GB version or € 509 for the 256 GB option.
