Pune: The police booked three men on Tuesday who were driving on a scooter because they snatched the smartphone of a 28-year-old man when he booked a taxi in front of the terminus of the state transport bus at Pune train station on Monday around 12.15 p.m. .
Assistant Inspector Amol Kale of the Bund Garden Police Station said, “Devesh Chandra, a physics teacher currently residing in Thane, arrived in Pune in a private vehicle from Dadar. He was just booking a taxi to reach Mohammadwadi when the three men came from the direction of Alankar Chowk and the second passenger grabbed his cell phone. The suspects sped off in the direction of Maldhakka Chowk. ”
