The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 will at the least have Energetic Noise Cancellation (ANC)

We heard pretty much everything about the new and upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds2, we even saw a number of high quality photos and videos showing the earbuds in a 360-degree view. Unfortunately, previous reports have pointed to the lack of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which meant the feature was exclusive to the more expensive Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds.

Ice Universe, a popular leakster, has provided some evidence that the next generation Samsung Galaxy Buds2 will indeed have active noise cancellation. A screenshot will be uploaded to Twitter to confirm the results.

The original second generation Samsung Galaxy Buds and Buds + only had passive noise cancellation, which is not the same as ANC. The rubber earbuds offer passive noise cancellation and ANC offers the active version of it which in theory should provide a great experience in reducing and canceling noise and noise from the outside world while wearing the earbuds.

It is unclear what drivers the earbuds will come with, but it is rumored that they have a better base. It will also have dual microphones to improve noise cancellation and voice quality when making calls. The Buds2 case will be slightly larger, roughly the same size as the Galaxy Buds Live and Pro devices, and it will have a USB-C port on the back and will likely have wireless charging capabilities, although this has not yet been confirmed .

The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 will cost between $ 149 and $ 169. It is scheduled to be presented at the next Samsung Unpacked event, which will take place on August 11th. At the event we also expect the new foldable flagships, the new Galaxy Watch 4 series and the Galaxy Buds2.

What do you think of the new Samsung Galaxy Buds2? Are you thinking of getting one or upgrading your current wireless earbuds? Let us know in the comments!
