On the last day of 2020, we will receive a new video teaser from Samsung preparing us for the arrival of the new Samsung Galaxy S21 series. This isn’t the first Samsung teaser we’ve seen in the past few weeks, but at least this one is official and comes straight from Samsung’s US YouTube channel.
We have a new leaked video of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21. The 30-second video shows us that a new year offers new ways of expression. It then shows us the evolution of the Samsung Galaxy S series since it first appeared in March 2010. The video teaser is now unlisted on Samsung’s US YouTube channel, but that doesn’t mean you can’t watch it . Just click the link below.
According to Ishan Agarwal, we also know that Samsung has apparently sent out invitations for the Nest Samsung Galaxy S21 Unpacked event, due to take place on Jan. 14 at 3 p.m. EST. We also saw an animated teaser toned in purple that hinted at new camera features but is pretty vague as no additional information is added.
However, it seems that not every rumor about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 series is inspiring. We already know that in some markets the device will be included without a charger and headset, but now the three Galaxy S21 variants also seem to discard microSD cards.
This time the information comes from Roland Quandt, who always gives us reliable information. He claims the new Samsung Galaxy S21 doesn’t have a “memory card reader” in its data sheet. This is not hard to believe as Samsung has been removing this feature from the Galaxy Note series since 2019 and it doesn’t seem to have a negative impact on the phone’s sales. However, this is still a rumor, meaning anything can happen between now and next year’s January event.
