Mumbai: A 40-year-old traffic cop was killed on Tuesday afternoon in an accident on the Western Express Highway (WEH) near the Hub Mall in Goregaon (E). Traffic policeman Pandurang Sakpal, 40, was riding a two-wheeler with a traffic policeman when a dump truck mowed her. Vanrai police arrested the accused driver and booked him in accordance with relevant sections of India’s Criminal Code for causing death due to negligence and rash driving.
