Samsung has officially confirmed the launch date of its new Exynos processor, and it seems that it will take place right before the possible launch of the new Galaxy S21 series. A new post on Twitter shows that “a brand new Exynos is coming”. We expect this to be the new Exynos 2100, which is rumored to be just as powerful, if not more, than its Snapdragon counterpart.
After a huge amount of Samsung leaks and rumors, we are finally getting official news straight from the Korean tech giant. The company has announced that it will hold an event on January 12 to launch its new Exynos processor. We now believe that Samsung will launch its flagship Exynos 2100 chipset, which is expected to power the international version of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 series. It also makes it easier to believe that while Samsung will launch its new flagship on January 14th, wait, there’s more to it.

We also received details about the upcoming Exynos 2100 SoC made by Roland Quandt. He claims that the new processor will have a 64-bit octa-core CPU consisting of an ultra-high-performance core clocked at 2.9 GHz, a Mali-G78 GPU, and an integrated 5G modem. He also mentions that there is a way that the Exynos 2100 could be made using a 7nm process. Still, he also says his information about the manufacturing process may be incorrect.
Samsung Exynos 2100: 1x 2.9 GHz (ultra high performance core), 3x 2.8 GHz (high performance core), 4x 2.4 GHz (energy saving core). Still seems to be made in the 7nm process for some reason (yield issues? Although this bit may be disabled)

In any case, if the company doesn’t release the information beforehand, we’ll have to wait less than a month to see if we can get the new Exynos 2100 processor and official specifications from Samsung. And since this is technical specs, you should also check out the latest leak which reveals all the details of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
