Samsung Galaxy S21 FE value leak suggests an inexpensive flagship

Samsung is expected to be preparing for the launch of its next Fan Edition smartphone. The company could launch the Galaxy S21 FE in the coming months and the latest rumors suggest it will be cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S21. The Fan Edition device is offered with flagship performance but at a lower price than the current generation flagship model. Additionally, alleged renders of the upcoming phone have also been leaked online.

According to a report by MyDrivers, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will cost between 700,000 and 800,000 won, which is between $ 625 and $ 719. So it could be the cheapest smartphone in the flagship range of the Galaxy S21. In addition, it should have the same design language as the other S21 series, according to the renderings that the well-known tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared on Twitter. They show the smartphone in four color variants – black, purple, white and greenish.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is said to have a 6.5-inch AMOLED display. It could support a refresh rate of 120Hz and come with an FHD + resolution. The handset is likely powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It could pack a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 25 W fast charging. It is also expected to support wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

As far as optics are concerned, the Galaxy S21 FE is said to have an OIS-supported 12 MP main camera, a 12 MP wide-angle lens and an 8 MP telephoto camera. It could have a 32 MP selfie shooter. The smartphone is expected to hit the market in August along with the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3. We expect more information to be released soon.
