Samsung Galaxy S21 FE postponed, report suggests

We are again receiving information that suggests that the new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE could arrive in late 2021. Now the latest report gives us a possible launch window and some rather unfortunate news.

Samsung is also a victim of the current chip shortage. The first device hit by the situation was the Galaxy Note series, which will not be updated this year, and it seems that the chip shortage will hit the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE as well. Now relax; we’re getting another Galaxy S21 this year. Unfortunately, rumors are that the S20 FE successor will arrive by the final quarter of 2021, and the latest report from South Korea suggests that the Galaxy S21 FE launch has been postponed from early August to October.

Well, an October launch doesn’t seem bad for the new device, but it does seem that the new device will arrive with limited availability. The report claims that the new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will not be launched in South Korea or Japan as this device would initially only be available in the US and Europe due to limited quantities.

Some industry insiders have also revealed that Samsung has even considered making the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE the same way as the Galaxy Note series. However, due to the popularity of the FE series, they ultimately decided to continue production even though we may only get a limited amount. However, this should be treated with caution as the company is reportedly considering multiple directions and nothing is final or official yet.

Other rumors about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 FE have revealed possible color options and a design similar to that of the current Galaxy S21 series. It is also expected to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, up to 8GB, 256GB of storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
