POCO M2 receives the MIUI 12 replace in India

POCO rose from the ashes and re-entered the Indian smartphone market this year. Budget and mid-range devices were launched. Now one of his phones, POCO M2, is getting a UI update. MIUI 12 was introduced for the device. It also brings the Android security patch for December 2020. The version number of the latest update is MIUI 12.0.1.0.QJRINXM. For reference, other POCO phones including the Poco X2, Poco M2 Pro and Poco F1 have already received the MIUI 12 update.

According to some users’ tweets, the latest update is 504MB in size. It brings the version number from MIUI 12.0.1.0.QJRINXM to the POCO M2. The device also has optimized system stability and reduced system lag. We recommend that you have sufficient battery power and a good WiFi connection to download and install the update. If you haven’t received a notification, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings. It is also recommended that you make a backup copy of your data before starting the installation process for security reasons.

POCO M2 with MIUI 12 gets a new user interface experience with revised system-wide animations and visualizations. You also get an app drawer that sorts apps by category. The update offers an ultra-battery saver mode that can extend the standby time of the phone and reduce power consumption. In addition, the option is introduced to automatically adjust the screen brightness to the ambient light. Dark Mode has been updated to provide an improved system-wide user interface that covers both system apps and third-party apps.

For strangers, POCO M2 was introduced in September of this year. The company had already announced that it would soon introduce MIUI 12 for its device. Now, within three months of launch, the POCO M2 will receive the update. It’s a budget device that starts at INR 9,999.
