Pixel 5a, clock and buds are coming? (Video)

The official news starts today with deals starting with Amazon. I have to give it to them for some crazy discounts most of the time. They currently have the OnePlus 8 for $ 210 off, so it stays at $ 490. The Galaxy S20 FE is also available for $ 100 and costs $ 600. The regular Galaxy Note 20, which is uh … not the best, also costs $ 200 and stands at 799. Plus, the Google Pixel 4 is priced at $ 320 less than the original price, which is $ 479. If you’re looking for other great deals on the Samsung Store, the company is offering the Galaxy S21 for $ 99, the S21 + for 300, and the S21 Ultra for $ 500 as part of their spring deals to an eligible device for trade-in. If you’re looking for an iPhone 11 Pro, Woot has the unlocked variant starting at $ 879, which is a pretty solid discount, but it’s still a 4G phone. We have more deals on other OnePlus phones, TCL phones, and more at the links below.

Sticking to the official news, let’s move on to Lenovo as the company has just released the successor to its Legion Gaming Phone. This brings a 6.92-inch AMOLED display from Samsung with 144 Hz and a crazy 720 Hz touch sampling rate. As expected, it is powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G with up to 18 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of storage and a 5500 mAh battery with 90 W fast charge. When it comes to the cameras, it comes with a dual camera module with a 64MP main sensor and a 16MP ultra-wide. Probably the most interesting feature of this phone is that the Pro variant has a built-in “Twin Turbo Fan Active” cooling system borrowed from gaming laptops. Both fans promise a service life of up to 6 years and the phone also has a vapor chamber for passive cooling. The Legion Phone Duel 2 comes in Ultimate Black and Titanium White colors and starts at around 565 with the refurbished model bringing you $ 916. It is currently available in Europe and Asia but stay tuned as it may still reach the US despite this cooling system being at stake. Seems like Zack already broke it. Well Let’s put the spotlight on Apple, but this time on us I’m going to talk about iPads. We received some new pictures from Sonny Dickson this morning showing some dummy versions of the upcoming 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad pros along with the iPad mini 6. Of course, these dummies are usually based on the CAD schematic casemakers used for prior to official release, but these are pretty good. Both professionals show the typical square design with the double camera at the back and the narrow bezels at the front. The iPad mini is unfortunately not being redesigned yet as it still includes the home button and large bezels. However, it is reportedly a larger display, ranging from 8.5 to 9 inches in size. Probably the biggest update for these iPads are the mini LED displays that we will finally get for the pros. We’ll see what other official changes Apple is announcing, that is, if they ever decide to announce them because we’re still waiting for them. Now let’s talk about Samsung smartphones and camera partnerships. I never thought we would have to see this, but oh well. If you’ve heard the podcast we did with Josh a few weeks ago, we’ve talked a lot about how this partnership between OnePlus and Hasselblad … unlike other partnerships like Huawei and Leica, hasn’t really worked so far. According to a tipster named Yogesh, Samsung could be the next company to partner with a camera maker. With a report from Tom’s Guide claiming that tipsters like IceUniverse have confirmed that Samsung and Olympus will be partnering. According to the report, Olympus turned to Samsung to offer the branding and expertise in key photography and videography. Of course, we don’t really know what that means until we get the phones. I know Josh loves his Olympus, but I’m not sure if Samsung needs any help with picture or video quality. Speaking of which, we could reportedly see this partnership on a special edition of the Z Fold or with the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which is still about 8 months away. Of course, this is just a report at the moment, but with all the partnerships that have come about lately. And finally, for the hottest news today, let’s talk about Google and Events. And yes, unfortunately there is still no touchable Pixel 6, but just give it some time. Anyway, yesterday the company announced that Google I / O is back and it will be back online. The event runs May 18-20 and it has been announced that it will be free for everyone, so pretty much now you can register. If you’re wondering what to expect, Google will most likely be talking about Android 12 aside from its workshops, developer keynotes, and live Q&A. However, some leaks claim that we could get the Google Pixel 5a at this event that was leaked back in February, which pretty shakes the 4a 5Gs design. Some even more recent leaks claim that we could also get some “Pixel Buds A” which are a cheaper variant of the Pixel Buds, hence the A. We also have a new picture of Jon Prosser’s Pixel Watch that we can see one on Part of the watch’s display along with a digital crown. He didn’t provide a lot of information, but he claims that he will have pictures and videos on his show, hopefully with a date. We’re just over a month away so we should have more information soon. Let’s just hope we get hardware.
