Ola S1 electrical scooter bookings cross 10,000 items inside in the future. MoveOS three replace introduced

Ola Electric has managed to record bookings for 10,000 S1 electric scooters within one day. The company announced the launch of the scooter last month, while bookings opened on September 1st. Ola has also promised to initiate deliveries of the scooter by September 7th, pan India. The bookings window for the remaining customers is said to open today on the Ola app as well as on the Ola Electric website.The Ola S1 electric scooter first broke cover on August 15th last year, however, it was later taken down while the company kept on selling the higher-spec S1 Pro model. The S1 is pitted as ‘one of the most advanced scooters’ in its category which comes kitted with a 3 KWh Lithium-ion battery pack. While the ARAI-certified range for the scooter stands at 141 km per charge, as per Ola, the scooter delivers a true range of 101 km on Normal Mode, 128 km on Eco Mode, and 90 km on Sports Mode. Some of the key highlights of the scooter include its MoveOS features like Music Playback, Navigation, Companion App, and Reverse Mode. It is currently available for purchase in Porcelain White, Jet Black, Neo Mint, Coral Glam and Liquid Silver color options.

Currently priced at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom), it is available at EMIs starting at as low as Rs 2,999, along with a loan processing fee waiver. The company has announced that along with the new S1, it will also initiate deliveries of the limited edition Khaki S1 Pro scooter from September 7th.

Meanwhile, the EV maker has confirmed that it will roll out a software update on its scooters by releasing MoveOS 3 to everyone this Diwali. The introduction of the new MoveOS 3 will unlock new and exciting features such as moods, digital key sharing, proximity unlock, improved regen, documents on scooter and more.
