LiDAR comes with the iPhone 13. now not only a professional characteristic

Apple’s iPhone 13 lineup may still be a few months away, but we get new rumors and information about the upcoming devices every now and then. It’s believed that a 120Hz display will finally find its way into the iPhone 13 lineup later this year. It is rumored that Apple is using LTPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) technology instead of LTPS to achieve the high refresh rates. The series is also said to have a larger camera hump. More information about the cameras has now surfaced online.

According to a report from MacRumors, all iPhone 13 models will be equipped with LiDAR. For the ignorant, the LiDAR sensor is only part of the Pro models of the iPhone 12 series. All models of the iPhone 13 series, including the non-Pro variants, are equipped with the LiDAR sensor. The use case of this sensor is limited as Apple has focused more on AR in recent years. As the report says, “the expansion of LiDAR to all” iPhone “models could be part of Apple’s plan to make AR and the underlying technology it requires more mainstream.

Apple also introduced ProRaw with the iPhone 12, a new format that combines RAW images with image processing for the iPhone. These ProRAW files can be anywhere from 10 to 12 times larger than typical HEIF or JPEG files. Rumor has it that the iPhone 13 series will have a 1TBG option.

According to another rumor, the new iPhone 13 series will have larger batteries. The iPhone 13‌ Pro Max has a 4352 mAh battery instead of 3687 mAh in the current Pro Max. In addition, the iPhone 13‌ and the ‌iPhone 13‌ Pro should be equipped with a battery of 3095 mAh compared to 2815 mAh. In addition, the iPhone 13 mini is said to have a 2406 mAh battery compared to the 2227 mAh battery of the iPhone 12 mini.
