iPhone 13 mini prototype is claimed to have been found in a sensible image

Just a few days ago, some supposed CAD-based 3D renders of the iPhone 13 Mini went online, and soon after, concept renders based on them reinvented the upcoming phone in all of its colorful glory. Now a practical picture of a so-called iPhone 13 Mini prototype has started to make the rounds on the Internet. The picture, which was first shared on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo and later landed on Twitter, shows a blue iPhone 13 Mini.

Today I was sent an alleged photo of the iPhone 13 Mini in blue color. My source said it was a prototype without specifying the prototyping phase. Can’t be sure it’s true, but got the chance to share #apple #appleinternal #iphone # iphone13 pic.twitter.com/h93UoORJ2j

This could be the last “mini” of its kind

The device is supposed to be a prototype, but it is unclear which prototype stage it belongs to. Apple devices go through several prototyping phases before certain changes are finalized and incorporated into the final product. The rest will not be published without details being published. With this in mind, it’s unclear whether the iPhone 13 Mini prototype shown in the leaked image is one of the approved prototype models. Plus, Some eagle-eyed users on Twitter have pointed out that the image is a good Photoshop jobHandle this leak with a high dose of skepticism.

Now to the actual design: It looks identical to the leaked CAD-based circuit diagrams, which are clearly visible through the diagonally arranged reversing camera lenses. Apple is reportedly making this change for the vanilla iPhone 13 as well, dispensing with the vertically oriented position of the camera lens on the iPhone 12 and its mini sibling. We can’t see the device from the front, but the only change related to leaks is a smaller notch.

The sides are flat and the build is likely the same glass and metal thing with support for MagSafe charging hardware, but with the chance for a couple of new color options. Inside, a new A-series chip will power the device, while a familiar dual 12-megapixel camera setup will take care of the imaging tasks. According to reports, Apple will equip the iPhone 13 Mini with sensor-shift image stabilization technology previously only available for the iPhone 12 Pro Max, replacing Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for better results.
