HOP Electrical Mobility is launching 2 new electrical scooter fashions

Electric vehicle maker HOP Electric Mobility launched two new scooter models on Tuesday and plans to launch five vehicles, including an e-bike, by the end of this fiscal year. The company also plans to set up charging stations, starting in Jaipur and continuing to other parts of the country.

HOP currently has three marketable vehicles, two e-scooters and one e-motorcycle, and in the long term the brand is planning to bring at least ten new products onto the market in the next three years, it said.

The two new e-scooter models with a range of up to 125 km, LEO and LYF, cost from 72,500 rupees and 65,500 rupees respectively and have functions such as internet, GPS, mobile app, 72-V architecture and a high-performance motor for climbing every incline with a load capacity of 180 kg, among other things, announced the company in a message.

In order to meet the growing demand for e-vehicle solutions, HOP Electric Mobility plans to introduce at least five e-vehicle solutions by the end of this financial year, the company announced in the announcement and added the OXO 100 e-bike. It should have a range of Offer 100 km on a single charge and reach a top speed of 100 km per hour with an engine power of 7200 W.

The company plans to also build charging stations out of Jaipur and then expand them further in other cities and states, stations where customers can replace their discharged battery with a fully charged one in just 30 seconds.

Hop’s energy grid took shape as the tests progressed. In January 2021, Hop’s pilot network with five exchange stations and 50 batteries began operations in Jaipur, it said.

The HOP EVs travel 70 km on a single charge at an economic cost of just under 20 Paise per km, the company claimed.

HOP’s 40,000 square foot production unit in Jaipur is equipped to produce 50,000 vehicles per year and can be expanded up to 1 lakh units. By 2022, the brand plans to build a new manufacturing facility in South India that will have a capacity of at least 5 lakh units per year.

Launched on the market in three versions – HOP Leo basic, LEO and LEO extended, the e-scooter reaches a top speed of up to 60 km / h. With a double 2X Li-ion battery, the scooter can reach a range of up to 125 km on a single charge.

The LYF model, which was also rolled out in three versions of LYF basic, LYF and LYF Extended, also offers a range of 125 km per charge with a dual 2X Li-ion battery. The e-scooter comes with a top speed of up to 50 km / h.

Other premium features from HOP LEO and HOP LYF include parking assistant, reverse gear up to 5 km / h, side stand sensor, three driving modes with reserve mode, LED console, double disc brakes, USB charging, remote control key, anti-theft alarm system and theft wheel lock, the company said.

HOP Electric Mobility also allows its customers to add additional accessories like internet and GPS connectivity, she added.
