Lowestoft company East Coast Mobility is offering free scooter rentals to anyone who needs help to take their COVID-19 vaccine.
Founded in 2004, the independent family business is based on Carlton Road in Lowestoft and offers free parking for the disabled. The shop states that all scooters will be thoroughly cleaned prior to collection.
In order to rent a scooter, users are required to provide ID that contains a picture of the person who is hiring the scooter.

Customers are required to pay a small deposit which will be refunded when the scooter is returned.
Grant Pierpoint, Wellness Advocate, said, “While many of our customers may already have the freedom to travel with their own mobility scooter, we recognize that not all may have this luxury.
