DRONERESPONDERS Public Security Summit at AUVSI

The DRONERESPONDERS Public Safety Summit is again this year at AUVSI Xponential, both in virtual and in live format.

“The Airborne International Response Team (AIRT), the leading 501 (c) 3 organization supporting Drones For Good ™ in emergencies and disaster response, today announced the continuation of its partnership with AUVSI, the world’s largest nonprofit affiliated with the Further development of unmanned systems and robotics for the implementation of the UON summit DRONERESPONDERS Global Public Safety at XPONENTIAL 2021, the world’s largest trade fair for unmanned systems and robotic vehicles. “

XPONENTIAL launched a hybrid format in 2021 to adapt to the global COVID-19 pandemic. From May 4th to 6th, XPONENTIAL will stream virtual live panels. From August 16-19, XPONENTIAL will be held live at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. “Both sessions will feature public safety and humanitarian content created by AIRT under the DRONERSPONDERS brand, showing how first responders and disaster relief workers use unmanned aircraft systems to save lives and protect property,” said a press release.

“Our continued partnership with AUVSI will help educate first responders and civil protection professionals on how like-minded organizations around the world are using Drones For Good ™,” said Christopher Todd, Executive Director of AIRT. “With the virtual XPONENTIAL event from May 4th to 6th, we can provide content from all corners of the USA and across the oceans. We will be adding international content to this program that you won’t find at most in-person drone-related events. “

The DRONERESPONDERS Global Public Safety UAS Summit at XPONENTIAL (virtual) includes workshops and panel discussions with drone public safety experts from the US, as well as specialized international use cases from organizations such as the London Fire Department and the United National World Food Program.

“We’re excited to partner with AIRT to re-present the DRASERESPONDERS UAS Public Safety Summit at XPONENTIAL 2021,” said Keely Griffith, Director of Industry Education at AUVSI. “The introduction of unmanned and autonomous systems in public safety continues to meet with great interest across the industry. We look forward to first responders and rescue workers playing an increasingly active role in XPONENTIAL’s Assuring Autonomy educational programs. “

Special rates available

Public safety professionals who use coupon code “AIRT30” to register will receive special prices. “Not only will these first responders get our best available rates, but they will also be able to get the virtual content from the XPONENTIAL May session included in their package at no additional cost,” said Griffin.

According to Todd, this offer makes a lot of sense for authorities and public safety organizations with limited financial means who would like to use the DRONERESPONDERS UAS Summit on Public Safety at XPONENTIAL (virtual) as a training tool for their team.

“We know that a lot of agencies are currently working on very tight budgets,” says Todd. “If these agencies commit to sending a representative to the personal XPONENTIAL event in August, they can use the May event as a virtual training tool for their entire drone team if they so choose.”
