Beware, Apple is now focusing on leakers!

It is reported that several leakers have received warnings from attorneys representing Apple. One of the tipsters, known as “Kang”, published on his Weibo account that Apple recently hired a law firm to send warning letters to a number of leakers. According to the posts, the Apple letter allegedly warned leakers not to disclose information about unpublished Apple projects.

The letter goes on to say that these leaks are misleading customers because “what is disclosed may not be accurate”. In addition, the leaks could provide valuable information to Apple’s competitors. Apple allegedly snapped screenshots of Kang’s Weibo as evidence. The account talked about problems he had with the iPhone, product launch dates and purchase suggestions for his followers.

As a result, Kang stated that since “I have never posted any secret product images or sold their information, Apple must take off” puzzles and dreams “about their secret projects. For context, a leaker known as “L0vetodream” has popularized leaks that are vaguely referred to as “dreams”. Thus, it provides a fun mechanism to point out Apple’s future plans without giving too much information.

“Dreaming will violate your confidentiality mechanism,” says Kang. He said that according to Apple’s logic, “if I have a dream, Apple’s competitors will get effective information”. “Without sending pictures or distributing pictures, I am still being used as a target,” he said.

He went on to comment: “I will not post any riddles and dreams in the future.” In addition, he said he had not misled consumers and that he was still entitled to share his feelings about Apple’s smartphone experience, noting that “your business shouldn’t interfere with my Weibo”.

Kang warned other bloggers by saying if they don’t want to cause trouble, then don’t post anything they don’t want to say to the public.
